T.H.E. Medical Acquires Med Design Inc.

T.H.E. Medical announced today that it had completed a deal to acquire 100% of Med Design Inc. Med Design is an industry leading developer and manufacturer of low friction patient positioning products. "The Med design family of products is a perfect fit for us, we will quickly integrate them into our current line of professional patient handling equipment" stated Randy Smith, Co-CEO and Director of US Sales. "It will round out our offering and allow facilities to conveniently source all of their patient lifting products from one vendor"

November 1, 2007: T.H.E. Medical announced the launch of it's brand new website today : www.themedical.com. "This dynamic new site showcases our industry leading family of patient handling and patient care products better than ever before" said Noel Duquette, the company's director of Sales and Marketing. He went on to note that there are still 2 or 3 areas of the site that require completion pending the release of new products scheduled for early 2008.
