Exclusively available from T.H.E. Medical, the PowerGlide is a safe way to laterally transfer your patients with just the push of a button—literally!
Patients can be transferred to and from a number of different surfaces like beds, stretchers, medical-imaging tables, O.R. tables and any other supine surface. The PowerGlide is an all-electric transport stretcher designed specifically to allow for single-caregiver lateral-transfers with just the push of a button.
Using the push-button remote, caregivers will simply line up the PowerGlide with the surface the patient is to be transferred from and send the transfer board toward the patient. The transfer board will then slide under the patient with no shear or friction forces, picking the patient up and allowing the handler to safely transfer the patient onto the stretcher with no manual lifting or pulling. Once fully loaded on the stretcher, the patient can be transported to the desired location.
