Stratus Portable

Ceiling Lifts

The Stratus Portable electric Ceiling Lift is designed and built specifically to withstand the rigorous demands of hospitals and nursing homes. This lift is also ideally suited to homecare applications where quality, reliability and performance, rather than price, is an important factor. The Stratus Portable incorporates numerous industry exclusive features including one of the highest lifting capacities available anywhere at 750lbs. The unique 6-point sling attach system with auto leveling side bars creates the safest, most comfortable portable ceiling lift system on the market. The “shoulder width” spreader bar configuration means that even large patients can be accommodated without the usual pinch points or forehead/motor contact associated with traditional portable lifts. In addition, the all-in-one 6-point spreader bar means that the Stratus can perform numerous clinical functions that other portable lifts just can't ie: patient rolling, limb lifting and full body supine lifting for in bed-repositioning etc. Super quiet operation means patients in other beds are not negatively affected. An all new optional wipedown (IC) lifting strap is also now available on every Stratus model. This innovative and patent pending feature allows the lift to be thoroughly disinfected. Old style fabric lifting straps cannot be disinfected due to their porous construction which can lead to serious infection control problems. MRSA, C. Diff. and other dangerous pathogens can be completely eliminated when using lifts equipped with the new IC lifting strap. An all metal drive train, extra wide lifting strap and numerous other safety features makes the Stratus Portable Ceiling Lift the lift of choice for progressive healthcare facilities across North America.

Additional Features

IC Lifting Strap

Ceiling lifts with fabric straps (shown on the left) cannot be disinfected since their porous construction can easily harbor dangerous pathogens.

The new IC lifting strap (shown on the right) can be easily cleaned and completely disinfected with any standard hard surface disinfectant.

Patent Pending Curtain Track Solution

New from T.H.E. Medical. Ceiling lifts CAN work seamlessly with privacy curtains.

Super 6 point spreader bar

Super 6 point spreader bar maximizes patient comfort and safety. Keeps lifting motor away from patient's face and evenly distibutes weight over a larger area than competitive products that employ old style 2 point attach. Pivoting sidebars incorporate auto-leveling feature for more stable lifts and reduced lifting strap wear.

Floor Lifts

Safely lift patients right from the floor. Pivoting side bars allow for sling attachment with no manual patient handling.

One Touch Rolling

The repositioning sling can also be used for push-button patient rolling.

Bariatric Capacity

The Stratus features the industry's highest lifting capacity. Our Bariatric model is rated at 750 lbs for safe handling of even the heaviest and most difficult patients.

In Bed Repositioning

Use the Stratus with the optional repositioning sling to eliminate even more manual patient handling.
