Patient lifter slings can be freely interchanged between the different lift models without the high level of risk associated with using incompatible slings. Medical ceiling lifts the only lifts that can be properly and completely disinfected. All ceiling lifts are designed specifically for institutional use, with the highest lifting capacities in the industry including 1000lb- single motor fixed lifts and 750lb portable ceiling lifts. Our Stratus portable ceiling lift incorporates the industry’s only integrated digital weigh scale, allowing patient weighing with a portable ceiling to finally become a reality.
A comprehensive zero-lift injury prevention program that enhances our product offering is also available to facilities that are serious about reducing injuries on a broader scale. Qualifying facilities have the ability of receiving this program free of charge. Many facilities have been able to achieve injury reduction rates of over 80% by implementing our A.C.T. Safe Patient Handling Program and as a result have enjoyed a very positive financial impact. Return on investment is normally quite rapid when the new equipment is combined with a safe lifting educational program.
Our head office and manufacturing plant is located in Barrie, Ontario. Our 75,000 square foot facility is ISO certified to the 13485 standard and houses all vertically integrated processes including R &D, metalworking (cutting, bending, welding), CNC machining, powdercoating, thermoforming, cutting/sewing and all final assembly. By controlling all of our own processes we can ensure consistency in quality, pricing and delivery times.
