The Airpal lateral transfer system makes lateral patient transfers virtually effortless. A comfortable, stable mattress is placed under the patient then inflated with air. The air escapes through thousands of tiny holes on the underside of the mattress literally elevating the matress and patient so that they are floating on a thin cushion of air. Once activated, patient moving becomes super easy to perform, eliminating caregiver arm, shoulder and back strain that often leads to caregiver injury. The mattress itself is extremely comfortable and several sizes are available with maximum weight capacities up to 1000lbs.

Standard general use Patient Positioning Pad constructed of a launderable nylon twill fabric which has been treated with a bacteria coating, water- proof but vapor permeable urethane inner coating and a static check coating to prevent the build up of static electricity. L Series:
Our L Series Pads are the same as our N Series except the nylon top surface (facing patient) is replaced with "Lectrolite", the same conductive material used to cover OR table pads and stretcher pads.
