V1 Negative Pressure Wound Therapy
Product Category: Advanced Wound Care Products

The Versatile 1 (V1) Wound Vacuum System is a traditional Negative Pressure Wound Therapy device.

The V1 provides the following benefits:

Precision Piston System:
Provides higher quality suction with the ability to maintain accurate pressure settings. Eliminates pressure spikes and automatically compensates for small air leaks in dressings.

Lower Pressure Settings:
Operates at only 60 to 80 mm/hg for superior patient comfort and better patient compliance. The high volume capability of up to 18 liters/minute is double the capacity of other products and allows for the treatment of up to five sites simultaneously.

Wide Variety of Drains:
Select from numerous drains that provide the ability to treat large wounds, small wounds and even heal to complete closure. Special drains provide the ability to irrigate wounds without disturbing the dressing and channel drains provide the ability to treat up to 5 explored tunnels at the same time.

Built-in Overflow Protection:
Automatically stops suction in the event of a problem. Eliminates the need for annoying audible alarms.

Periodic Therapy:
Case studies show that the V1 promotes wound healing with treatment times of only 6 to 8/hrs per day instead of the 24/hr day protocol required by other devices. Often, the V1 is required only overnight, freeing the patient from the device during the day which results in a better quality of life and increased compliance.

More Comfortable Dressing Changes:
Granulation tissue will not grow into the V1 fill material. This important feature eliminates painful dressing changes and associated bleeding often encountered with other types of fill material.
